Home to one of the leading international film festivals, Berlin provides the ideal setting for the conference. Attracting around 390,000 visitors including some 3,500 journalists from about 70 countries, the Berlinale is one of the top media events in the film industry. The Symposium will feature a comprehensive range of panel sessions as well as film screenings aimed at increasing awareness of all aspects of large format film making. The film presentations on digital image capture, IMAX® DMR technology, large format story telling, European production from both an historical and instructive perspective are just some of the the subjects that will be covered during the symposium. Panels will comprise a range of industry professionals from both Europe and North America, all of whom have extensive experience in the medium. All proceedings will be in English.
