Since 1989, members of Euromax have come together to preview the very best educational documentary films made for giant screens and to build the future of institutional and documentary cinema. We bring the spotlight onto new technologies, new films, and new partnership opportunities with the wider science centre and museum community.
We are a non-profit organisation comprising professionals of the giant screen cinema industry, documentary film makers and distributors as well as technical service suppliers all passionate about nurturing and developing the highest quality and memorable cinematographic experiences.
Euromax is managed by an Executive Committee comprising Laurent Dondey as President, Pascal Vuong as VP Production and Beth Nicholas as General Administrator. Today our members include thirteen European institutional giant screen venues, twelve film production and distribution houses, and four technology vendors.
Between us, we reach out to more than 1.3 million visitors per year in Europe and generate revenues for producers, distributors, technical vendors and ancillary related businesses .
We meet once a year as an association. Wherever possible, meetings are scheduled to include preview screenings, visits to member theatres, presentations on future film projects, and to coincide with key industry events. Members pay no registration fee for these meetings as part of the membership benefits.
